THE MISSION OF INTERACT
The widespread use of digital communication devices has created a nation
of participants in a shared media environment. As social media move
from outsider status to integration with Mass Media, the scope of
participation is increasing.
But Mass Media continue to impose a glass ceiling that separates citizens
from participating in the national policy discourse monopolized by
pundits, politicians and pollsters. Is there a role for an expansion
of citizenship in this new media environment? |
